A recent vulnerability known as 'Heartbleed' was discovered within OpenSSL which could theoretically allow an attacker to steal the private keys of SSL certificates.
We would like to let you know that all SSL certificates provided by and used by VirtualTin including all of VirtualTin’s supplier’s websites have been checked and are not affected by this new threat. We also thought it would be very helpful to provide you a very useful site that will confirm if the SSL certificate you are using is affected or not: https://sslanalyzer.comodoca.com/
Within the site enter your SSL protected webpage into the page then ‘Analyse’ within the results pain look at the ‘Protocol Features / Problems’ section and you will see ‘HeartBeat’ if the site you are testing replies ‘Immune to Heartbleed attack’ then the site is secure against the Heatbleed attack.
